CONGRATULATIONS to the Sayed family from Merrylands. Their extremely funny winning entry from our Merrylands Stocklands Mall competition in November, had our judges in stitches. Mrs Sayed told us it was all her 10 year old daughter’s idea and 100% her response to the question, tell us why your family makes you laugh? “My brother acts like a monkey, ooh! so he makes me laugh, and my baby brother farts every minute and my dad makes us laugh by sitting in a pram”. It was off to the isle of the long white cloud to photograph Jacqui & Adrian’s wedding in Palmerston North last weekend. New Zealand even put on a sunny afternoon (well for about 2 hours) for the photo shoot. And what an awesome couple, thank you heaps guys for your awesome letter (see our testimonial page). I could almost move down there, the people are awesome, no major traffic jams, a parking ticket is like $15, it’s almost like a little Australia back in the 70′s, just a bit colder, wetter and man that wind. Check out this couple’s fantastic images on the client gallery, particularly the action shot of the veil flying off in the wind.

We are all celebrating back in the office after I just scored a PB at this year’s Australian Professional Photography Awards in Melbourne.
